Cypress College holds financial aid workshops to assist students applying for 2019-2020 FASFA.

Are you feeling stressed about financial aid applications? Well, there is no need to pull your hair out. From Feb. 25 until March 1, Cypress College students can attend a financial aid lab where financial aid technicians are available to help fill out applications or answer any questions about the application process.

Cypress College offers both federal and state financial aid programs which include gift aid, self-help aid, grants, loans, California College Promise Grant (CCPG), work study programs and scholarships.

Dependent students will need to bring their own and their parent(s) 2017 Tax Returns and 2017 W2s, and/or 1099s. Independent students will need to bring their own (and spouse’s if married) 2017 Tax returns and 2017 W2s and/or 1099s. Both dependent and independent students also need to bring their FSA ID login information. Students can create the account before the workshop at fsaid.ed.gov.

The workshops will be held on campus in the Learning Resource Center on a walk-in basis, no appointments needed.
